I walked down to Lake Union, wandered past the ships in [South Lake Union Park](http:\/\/www.cityofseattle.net\/parks\/parkspaces\/southlakeunionpark.htm),  and up some steps to Queen Anne Hill. It was raining the whole way and drizzling in Vancouver.  I checked into my hotel and wandered around downtown Vancouver.  My hotel was near to the Gastown quarter and the financial district.
